Flag Football





CourseĀ  Objectives

o       Develop an understanding of the rules, positions and skills associated with the sport of flag football
o       Learn the basic skills necessary to effectively participate in a game of flag football
o       Respect the different ability levels of classmates
o       Demonstrate responsible, personal and social behavior in the class
o       Understand the importance of teamwork and cooperation to successful
o       participation in the game





Performance Indicators

o       Demonstrate a proficiency in the following skills: throwing, catching, centering, blocking, punting, place                  kicking and ball carrying
o       Participate in a variety of offensive and defensive positions
o       Apply the rules of flag football during game play
o       Demonstrate knowledge of field markings, boundaries and proper terminology in flag football
