Performance Indicators

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH:
1.1-describe how the environment influences personal health.
NUTRITION & CONSUMER HEALTH:
2.2-evaluate all factors that influence personal selection of food, food products and nutrition services.
4.2 -research a school or community nutrition issue resulting from the influence of culture, media, technology and other factors.
6.1-analyze different strategies when making decisions about dietary analysis and food intake.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:
3:2- design a plan with recommended strategies for individuals, schools and communities to reduce the incidence of sexual abuse, rape and sexual harassment.
7:2- influence and support others in making positive health choices.
STRESS MANAGEMENT:
1.1 analyze interrelationships of mental, emotional, social and physical health throughout life.
3.4- research and evaluate strategies to manage stress by individual and groups within the family, at school, at work, or in other social situations.
5.2- design, evaluate, and implement a plan for attaining a personal mental health goal.
HIV/ AIDS:
1.4-analyze how public health policies and government regulations influence diseases prevention
1.5-how the public influences the development of public health policy and government regulation
7.3-    work cooperatively when advocating for healthy sexuality and advocating for rights of individuals with HIV/AIDS.
